A break from your every day…

The ethos behind our camp is to free your creative mind, develop your musical network and write some really exceptional and memorable songs. We believe it is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed.

Our base for this camp is in the idyllic Greek island of Tinos at a hotel reserved solely for our writers. You can enjoy the full freedom of the location, with sessions organised each day in groups of 3. If you choose you can spend all day writing/creating or you can take some time by the pool, meditation areas, gardens to breathe in the location and connect with your creativity before you jump back into the music. 

Arrival to Tinos is possible via plane and then boat from the popular Greek island Mykonos, or via a high speed ferry from Athens direct.

In Detail…

Upon arrival in Tinos a shuttle will bring you to the base for the GC camp. On the night before we begin, we would like to invite you to a welcome dinner at a local Taverna where you can meet all the other writers and talk music in a relaxed setting.

The next day we start with an introduction to our camp and the reasons behind it. Guest speakers will then talk about the various open pitch opportunities we have for you and explain a little about what opportunities may come. Teams are then made, consisting of groups of 3, which typically contain a producer (tracker), songwriter/topliner and vocalist. You’re then free to work on whatever type of song you want to – this is the time to free your creative mind and enjoy the process. We encourage you to try to finish your songs by the end of each day, but this is not a requirement. The main thing is creating an idea that you all love and that can continue to grow and to connect with the people in your team. Throughout the camp the organisers will occasionally drop in on sessions to offer feedback/advice. 

Breakfast and Lunch is complementary at our Camp and you can enjoy a wide variety of Greek cuisine (we also cater to your preferences so please let us know before arriving if there are any items you cannot / do not wish to eat).

Throughout your stay we offer you the opportunity to wind down with the assistance of professionals who also have a unique understanding of what it is to make music and to be an artist. They offer a variety of mindfulness activities such as sound baths, pilates, meditation and other techniques to help you calm your mind and free your creative spirit. It is a fundamental part of the experience of our GC camps and we really want to support our writers and artists and give them the tools to survive in this crazy industry.

Extra activities are of course available on the island during your stay (Quadbiking, Hiking, Water Sports e.t,c) and can be arranged directly via our camp organisers. (Please note as these are not included in the activities of our Camp, they will need to be paid at the writer’s own expense). On the last night of the camp a special listening party is arranged, where we can hear all the songs created over the previous 4 days. We will also create a special Discord channel exclusive to the camp, for all participants to keep in touch and to follow the progress of fellow writers. An after-movie will also be filmed highlighting the 4 days in Tinos.
