After moving to Berlin the label of Robin Schulz signed me and I focused on dance music (writing + singing). Nowadays I am more into pop and electronic music – and there is new stuff coming out this year, I’m excited af! I also started a new project with a friend of mine which will be also released this year. The direction is hard to describe, I would say Fred Again meets emo pop:)
Essntial: Tell us a little about your music and the direction of your sound?
I grew up with classical music as well as soul music, my parents are big fans of Stevie wonder, Aretha Franklin etc. I used to sing in a drum and base band and fell in love with pop and dance when I moved to Hamburg to study.

Essntial: Where are you based and why do you live there?
I grew up in Heidelberg, studied in Hamburg and today I’m based in Berlin. And I love this city. It’s colourful, the music scene is thriving and I feel free to live the way I like to.
But I have to admit I also love nature and sometimes I’m longing to live next to the sea or the forest.
Essntial: What are your musical aims for 2023? Any upcoming releases?
Yesss. I just kind of „merged“ with a new team, it’s very exciting for me. I did a lot of writing sessions last year – this year it’s time to bring it out. I am really looking forward to release my stuff and it feels like the right time.
Essntial: And what has been the highlight so far in your career?
Mhmm… I had some really nice gigs in the past and also performed in the TV.
But to be honest my highlight are the people I am allowed to work and make music with. I’m so glad that I found ppl who really understand my vision and the message I want to put out with my music. That’s my highlight 🖤
Essntial: What Is the one instrument/plugin you can’t live without?
I used to play violin for 10 years and I still love the sound. But nowadays I prefer piano, sometimes I start crying when I hear someone playing because it reminds me so much of home (my mother plays the piano).
Regarding plugin: defo Valhalla
Essntial: Who are the ones to watch in 2023?
Kali Uschis, Kaytranada, Fred Again.
